IT FUN PEOPLE (President & CEO Seiji Otaki, hereinafter "IFP") announced that it has established a U.S. entity to accelerate its global payment business in the North American market.

The establishment of the U.S. entity was driven by direct operating needs identified through IFP's collaborations with major U.S. financial institutions. Unlike Japan, South Korea, and the United Kingdom, the U.S. market has a highly segmented regulatory environment, financial institution review process, and card payment operating structure, making local operational capabilities essential.

Through its U.S. entity, IFP plans to strengthen collaboration with local financial institutions and partners while providing faster support for merchant contracting, review, and operations in North America. The company will also build risk management and settlement operations tailored to the characteristics of the U.S. market.

"Establishing our U.S. entity is an important step toward becoming a more responsible payment partner in North America," said Seiji Otaki, President & CEO of IFP. "Based on our cooperation with U.S. financial partners, we will build an operating structure suited to the local market and provide trusted payment services for global businesses."

IFP plans to expand services for North American merchants and partners through its U.S. entity while leveraging its operational experience in Asia and Europe to further expand its global payment business.
